Based on my personal needs, I couldn't be more happy with the mailbox! It is clearly high quality, and am very happy with the thickness of the metal. The ruggedness of the copper exterior isn't over the top and looks very high quality. Was worried it might have an obviously fake look, and this absolutely does not.I do think the lock works well where you turn the key, however the opposite side of the mailbox does lift up a bit since it doesn't have the locking mechanism where the keyhole is located. If security is a major concern for you, I would probably consider this before purchasing. If someone wanted to, they could easily wedge a tool to pry it open. The picture attached shows this. The lock does not work very good. The box looks great, but the lock is pretty cheesy.Would definitely recommend this mailbox. Easy install and looks amazing.I love the modern look & that is it sturdy. Secure as well.Nice sized box & super sleek design. I’m beyond pleased with this purchase.Overall this is a very nice Keyed mailbox. You have to realize a couple items that might be dealbreakers for you though. Firstly the edges on the lid are kinda sharp. They really should have rolled the edge. For me I just put a car door edge protector on it.The second issue is that the lock is pretty much visual protection only. You can easily reach your hand inside the box and force the locking mechanism to open. I have no problems with this myself as it’s a mailbox not Fort Knox but it could have been easily remedied if the mail slot were in the middle or back of the top rather than right over the locking mechanism. But if you want a nice looking mailbox this one isn’t bad.Like nice but is very sharp on the inside. I cut my finger installing this. This mailbox looks amazing even better than in the pictures. However the way it opens and closes when u unlock it is very cumbersome. The edges are also very sharp. They should probably think of lining the inner edges with silicone or something because the top of the mailbox just falls down when u let it go. There is no slow close hinge or anything. The edge could easily cut your hand.Basically you can’t really lock the mailbox back while holding your mail. It’s always a 2 hand job to lock the mailbox back to insure you don’t hurt yourself. However as long as you can get used to these quirks you will definitely have one of the best looking mailboxes on the block ????. I’m very happy with the lookTried this out for the looks and in person it matches up to what the pictures would suggest but the fit and finish was a bit unpolished - eg lots of sharp edges and corners. It's not overly thick, even though it may looks as such, so it has that tin like feel but otherwise it would do the job. The opening and design is still large enough that vertical taller envelopes could be plucked out. Price is just so so for what it is, but mailboxes surprisingly are expensive all around. My only issue with it is that the key is a little difficult to get into the keyhole sometimes. You have to fiddle with it a bit to get it in. Other than that, its a great box. Does the job of keeping my mail safe from being stolen. It looks great and was really easy to install. IMO, worth the money.Well the box is perfect for the apartments I have. Tenants love them. Should have a hanger in the bottom for those flyers that we get all the time. There are two holes on the bottom May use them to attach a hanger. My boxes are under an covered porch so no water or snow should get in. Like the four keys they send with it.Yes, it looks good. But that's about it. The key mechanism sticks like crazy. This is not waterproof or resistant. But sharp edge in somewhere, I'll sand it a bit, hope postman's fingers won't get cut.
